The mission of the Mequon-Thiensville School District, an active partnership of staff, school board, parents, and community, is to create an educational environment that will motivate our students to develop the skills and attitudes necessary to become life long learners and successfully meet future opportunities by:

| Mequon-Thiensville is one of only six (6) school districts in the state to receive a “Aaa” bond rating from Moody's. “Aaa” is the highest rating a school district can receive from Moody's. |

| The 2010-2011 tax levy (-.31%) was one of the lowest in the area. |

| Mequon-Thiensville offers 6 years of Spanish, French and German. The District also offers 4 years of Latin. |

| Instructional Media Specialists support teacher literacy and technology needs in every school. |

| Many classrooms are supplied with SMART boards, LCD projectors and other tools to assist 21st Century student learning. |

| Mequon-Thiensville offers a world-class fine arts program for students grades K-12. |

| Homestead High School had a district record 17 National Merit Finalists in 2009-10. |

| Homestead High School Class of 2010 had the highest ACT composite score in the State of Wisconsin last year - 25.9. |
