Flu Season

In light of the upcoming flu season the Mequon-Thiensville School District will be implementing the following procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all.

Please note the NEW procedures for reporting your child’s absence due to illness.

Symptoms of illness:
    Fever
    Serve sore throat
    Stomach
    Diarrhea
    Respiratory
    Other
  Contact any health care provider.

If your child becomes ill at school with a fever and respiratory symptoms they will be isolated from their classroom. The school will provide a respiratory mask, as needed.
  star Parents or emergency contact person will be notified to pick child up from school.
  star Students MUST be fever free without medication (Advil or Tylenol) for 24 hours before they are allowed back into school.
