| In light of the upcoming flu season the Mequon-Thiensville School District will be implementing the following procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all. | ||
Please note the NEW procedures for reporting your child’s absence due to illness. |

Symptoms of illness: |

| Fever | ||
| Serve sore throat | ||
| Stomach | ||
| Diarrhea | ||
| Respiratory | ||
| Other | ||
| Contact any health care provider. | ||
If your child becomes ill at school with a fever and respiratory symptoms they will be isolated from their classroom. The school will provide a respiratory mask, as needed. |

| Parents or emergency contact person will be notified to pick child up from school. | ||
| Students MUST be fever free without medication (Advil or Tylenol) for 24 hours before they are allowed back into school. | ||
