Means PhotoThe quality of a school district is often a reflection of the value that community members place in their local schools. With this in mind, the ongoing success of the Mequon-Thiensville School District and its graduates should come as no surprise.

If you hadn’t heard, Milwaukee Magazine recently ranked the Mequon-Thiensville School District as the best district in the metro area, edging out Whitefish Bay, Elmbrook and Nicolet to earn the top spot. The rankings, which are put out annually by the magazine, rate area school districts on factors such as ACT scores, graduation rates and the percentage of students who are proficient or advanced on state tests, including the WKCE, in grades 4, 8 and 10.
