Wilson Elementary School
A Place to Live, Learn, Laugh, and Love!
Over the past fifty years, Wilson School has truly been, as our motto says, a place to live, learn, laugh, and love!
Over the years, Wilson has been part of the lives of many, many students. Year after year, the faculty and staff watch as the students live and grow right before our eyes. Kindergartners become fifth graders in just a few short years. Some students have returned as parents and the cycle of living continues!
First and foremost, Wilson School is a place of learning. By any measure, our students thrive and perform well on school, district, and state assessments. Our staff and students know that student achievement is the primary mission of the school.
Fun abounds at Wilson School! Special programs and concerts, Student Council and PTO activities, as well as classroom plays and parties, all help bring joy to Wilson School. Hardly a week goes by without a special event or activity that makes learning fun.
Everyone in the Wilson School family cares about others. From time to time throughout each school year, the Student Council, as well as staff members, sponsor projects in order to provide items or funds to others in need in our community, our nation, and even around the world. These projects provide our students with many opportunities to demonstrate their caring.
Live, Learn, Laugh, Love…a wonderful motto for a wonderful school!

1957--2007: A Place to Learn, Love, Laugh, and Live...for 50 Years!
Welcome to the Wilson School website! Later in the school year, we will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of our school—an important milestone indeed!
Boys and girls at Wilson enjoy a learning environment that is rich with opportunities in the areas of art, guidance, library, math, music, physical education, reading, science, social studies, technology, and writing. Many of our older students participate in band and orchestra as well as in our student council that organizes community service projects throughout the year.
Our PTO sponsors a number of family activities each year, conducts fund-raising projects, and coordinates parent volunteers in classrooms and for special events.
Students and parents alike take part in numerous Mequon-Thiensville Recreation Department classes.
We are proud to say that Wilson School has been a place to learn, love, laugh, and live for 50 years.
